NIICHIMMASH is a Federal state unitary enterprise – the Research Institute of Chemical Engineering –
the leading center of the Russian aerospace agency for development and testing of rocket-space hardware.
A list of basic activities:

NIICHIMMASH produces civilian products: tubular electric heaters, automated systems for temperature control and granular and liquid product level control in tanks, medical inhalators, needles, metal-coated film materials, forest biochemistry products; produces liquid and gaseous components: hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, neon.

Dzerzhinsk NIIchimmash
– the Federal state unitary enterprise,
initially named Dzerzhinsky subsidiary of NIIchimmash.
At present it is the Federal state unitary enterprise “ the Dzerzhinsky research and design institute of chemical engineering within the jurisdiction of the RF Ministry of industry, science and technology.
The Institute is specialized in development and introduction of advanced technologies and new chemical, petrochemical and other equipment at enterprises as follows:
- granulators and granulating plants for loose materials, pastes and melts, mixers, feeders, pelletizers and granule handlers;
- reactors-polymerizers, mixers-homogenizers, plants for gellike polymer materials, tanks for fluid cleaning, plants for luizite recycling;
- ozone treatment plants for drinking water treatment, ozonizers for waste water treatment, air dehumidifiers and ozone deaerators;
- plants for applying highly effective protective composite coats (chemical resistance, erosion resistance, heat resistance, hydrophoby) ;
- hydrogen electrolyzers;
- roll crystallizers;
- liquid filters;
- loose chemical product prepacking and packing facilities;
- thickening plants comprising hydrocycling, settling tanks for contaminated fluid treatment and medium separation;
- mechanical seals for chemical equipment and pump rotating parts.
